STUDY GRANTS AND FINANCIAL AID
There are several types of financial aid available, all designed to make our distance learning degree program in Applied Computer Science more accessible. All financial aid options will be publicized on this page in a timely fashion so that all those who are interested may apply. Pre-registered users may request more specific information on financial aid options that may be available to them.
- Merit Grants
Merit study grants covering the second installment of tuition will be awarded to the students who have passed the highest number of exams from January 1, 2009 to October 10, 2009. In case of ex-equo, the grants will be awarded to students with the highest exam marks.
In order to be eligible for the grants, students must have renewed their tuition for the 2008/09 academic year by October 6, 2009, and have submitted their applications by October 31, 2009. Applications must be forwarded by fax at +39 0722 4475 and sent by ordinary mail to "Istituto STI - Piazza della Repubblica, 13 - 61029 Urbino (PU) - Italy" by October 31, 2009.
In order to benefit from the grant, winners must submit their family income certifications by December 31, 2009.
- Ersu Study Grants
These study grants are awarded every academic year by Ersu, the regional authority for university studies, to students who have enrolled at the University by the official enrollment deadline (October 6, 2008). Students must submit their applications and provide all required documents before the application deadline (either September 3, 2009, or September 10, 2009, depending on the conditions specified in the regulation).
A single list of students eligible to receive the grants will be compiled ranking students on the basis of merit and family income (from the most eligible).
- Income brackets
The second installment of university tuition varies according to the student's family income.
